  • Locust Street from Maple to Market will remain closed to thru traffic
  • Walnut Street from Maple to Market will remain closed to thru traffic

  • Meigs Avenue from Maple to Market will remain closed to thru traffic
  • Mechanic Street from Maple to Market will remain closed to thru traffic
• Market Street from Fulton to Penn will be closed starting next Monday, August 16, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. – Traffic will be detoured down Graham Street to Maple Street and down Fulton to Market Street
  • Once Market Street is opened, the road closure on Chestnut between Fulton and Penn will be set-up
    • This road closure to thru traffic includes closing Fulton Avenue to thru traffic
• Minimal traffic impacts will be encountered at the following locations:
  • Intersection of 7^th Street/Wall Street
  • Market Street from Mulberry Street to Graham Street

8^th Street Project Road Impacts | Starting at the end of the work day 8/13/21

Ewing Lane Project:

• 8^th Street Closed from Martha Ave to Lilly Lane 
• The signalized intersection of 8^th Street and Ewing Lane is Closed

8^th Street Project:

• During the day on Monday, the new detour route for the 8^TH Street closure (see attached map) will begin to be put in place. By the end of the day Monday, the new detour should be in place. 
• 8^Th Street Closed to thru traffic from Walnut Street to Howard Avenue
• The following side roads will be open to through traffic on rough pavement through the 8^Th Street intersection:
  • Walnut Street
  • Meigs Avenue
• The following side roads will be construction impacted:
  • Penn Street (between 8^TH & 9^TH Street) and signalized intersection will be Closed
  • Watt Street and 9^th Street Intersection – will have flagger traffic control on Tuesday, 8/17 or Wednesday, 8/18
  • Howard Avenue and 9^Th Street Intersection – will have flagger traffic control starting Monday, 8/16
  • Mechanic Street (between 8^Th & 9^TH Streets) – construction activities off and on through the week. No parking on the southwest side of the roadway. Temporary construction No Parking signs will be posted.
