So basically nothing has changed yet again?
It would be nice to have updates as to when some of these streets will reopen, what your plans are with a timeline of restoration of roads and a timeline for what will be closing in the future.
We are all getting tired of knowing nothing about your plans moving forward.
Thank you for your feedback. We do have an estimated digging timeline on the homepage. This will give you an overview of the project.
Why don’t you include the closures on the north side of court avenue? 8th has been closed forever.
Thank you for your feedback. While 8th Street and Jeff Digs are two separate projects, we understand the confusion. Starting this week, we will be providing 8th Street closures and updates as well as the Jeff Digs impacts.
Why does it not mention Watt or Walnut & 8th Street intersections on any of these lists. My street is 1 way and has been closed off for months now. We can’t park in front of our own homes because of people coming past the barricade and then trying to turn around where we are parked because 8th Street is closed at both these intersections. It’s ridiculous it has taken this long and rather then finish they just continue to block more roads around us making it even harder to get to our homes.
Thank you for your feedback. While 8th Street and Jeff Digs are two separate projects, we understand the confusion and certainly the frustration. Starting this week, we will be providing 8th Street closures and updates as well as the Jeff Digs impacts. Stay tuned to city’s Facebook page for more information.
Hi. I’ve looked at the digging timeline…for Meigs, it’s January. Today is July 27th and somebody’s out there…digging. We don’t know if it will be on our side of the street too…if this is something that will then be filled in… etc.
