Chestnut and Locust street closures start mid-May 2021

MAC Construction & Excavating, Inc. (MAC) is under contract with the City of Jeffersonville to construct the CSO Storage Interceptor Phase 3 Project (Jeff Digs). The construction of the Jeff Digs project involves the installation of a large diameter CSO Storage Interceptor pipe; an 8-inch local collector sewer line; storm sewer improvements; an underground duct bank; and roadway, curb, and sidewalk reconstruction.

Road closures will be installed to provide MAC with access to construct the project. Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained. However, MAC will coordinate with residents and business owners if an entrance must be temporarily blocked while construction progresses directly in front of a home or business.

As part of this project, Chestnut Street from Locust to Walnut will be closed to thru traffic starting on/or after Monday, May 17, 2021. Locust Street from Market to Chestnut will also be closed to thru traffic starting on/or after Monday, May 17, 2021.

We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation. Your cooperation will assist in expediting the construction process.

Feel free to contact MAC’s on-site representative, Jerry Stucker, if you have any questions or concerns. Jerry can be reached at (502) 220-0709. You can also call the office at (812) 941-5331 to speak with Chase Scott.
